Lady of Bayfield Hall is a title inherited by Monika Bacardi, subsequent to her marriage into the Bacardi family. She previously lived in Italy. Having developed a keen interest in philanthropy and art, she pursued studies in literature and arts there. Monika Bacardi has lived in Monaco for over twenty years now.

She is a busy woman, having become involved in many philanthropic ventures. She contributes to oceanographic research and supports a number of charities, like "amfAR" (Making AIDS History Association), "Fondation AVEC" along with the Monaco Red Cross. Monika Bacardi has revealed a remarkable entrepreneurial flair following the 2005 death of her husband, who ran the Bacardi business for four decades. The worldwide marketplace has benefited from an excellent slate of films that have been produced by Andrea Iervolino and herself, following their launching of AMBI Pictures.

Monika Bacardi's work life revolves around the running of 'PHOTO' magazine and AMBI Group. Offering career management, while establishing connections with global buyers, are services that Lady Bacardi endeavors to generate around her 'PHOTO' brand for photographers and artists. A number of years ago Monika Bacardi acquired the famous 'PHOTO' magazine, which has been in print since the late sixties.

Monika Bacardi and Lord Luis Bacardi (the Lord of Bayfield Hall - a relative of the founder of the Bacardi Company) had a girl together after they married. An intense sensitivity to environmentally friendly and social considerations in her life are things that she likes to make known. Promoting the causes and charitable organisations which are close to her heart consumes a lot of Monika Bacardi's leisure time.
